#30Lists: A few more days...

I enjoyed the holidays so much I completely let go of all of my list-making.  And instead of putting major pressure on myself to try to catch-up all at once, I'm just doing a few at a time.  Here are lists nine through twelve.

I'm joining in  over at 30 days of lists for the December challenge.  Today's prompt?

This is the only time of year I...

1. Listen to Christmas music (I completely forgot it was time until this afternoon)
2. Kinda obsess about gift giving.  There were so many years I couldn't really afford to give gifts.  While I'm still definitely on a budget, I can totally give.  And finding the perfect gift for someone makes my day! 
3. This time of year I obsess about gifts, but I obsess about the gift wrapping even more.  I usually know how I'm going to wrap the gift before I find the gift.
4. I think in "number of days".  Today marks 22 days until Christmas!
5. Actually think about gifts I'd like to receive.  I even started a Pinterest board with things that are entirely too expensive for anyone...but it's fun to document what I'd love to get if money weren't an issue.

So far, I'm loving these lists!

Around my house...

1. Pom-pom garland just waiting to be hung
2. A space heater that moves from room to room
3. Thanksgiving/fall decorations...I just can't seem to get motivated to take them down
4. Everything is neat and tidy - just the way I like it.

I'm pretty proud of those pom-poms, by the way :-)

#30Lists: Before the end of the year...

Happy first day of December!  I absolutely can't believe it's so close to the end of the year already.  This year has flown by.  2014 is going to be exciting!

The whole idea of a December daily project is a bit overwhelming to me.  I've tried to do it two years in a row and it just doesn't work for me.  So instead, I've joined the girls over at 30 days of lists for the December challenge.  My goal is to do each day and also blog about it.  Today's prompt?  

Before the end of the year...

1. Make some decisions about my focus and plan for scrapbooking and crafty things in 2014 

2. Enjoy the heck out of spending time with the people I love

3. Get my knee healthy and ready to hit the road (figuratively speaking)

4. Be a part of at least five random acts of kindness

And that's it.  Not a huge amount of pressure.  And I love that these lists can be as short or as long as I need them to be.
