Happy Birthday Momma! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

March 17th is a awfully special day! It's St. Patrick's Day but more importantly it's my Momma's birthday! Happy birthday EMo! I know she's having a wonderful birthday because she is tromping around Spain and Italy (mostly in Sardinia) with Aunt Pat.

This has been a crazy week. Monday was "home" day. Getting over the fact that it's actually Monday, paying bills, going through papers, etc. Tuesday was Cindy's wedding shower/dinner with the girls from the office. I think she really like her album. At least I hope so. We all went to Maggianos. Yuuuummy! Wednesday was book club. We were discussing "That Old Ace in the Hole" by Annie Proulx. It was a difficult, disjointed read, but I'm glad I persevered and finished, even if it wasn't the best ending in the world. We met at Ted's Montana Grill and I had bison for the first time. I have say, it was quite delicious. All that said, I think I've had quite enough rich food for the week.

This weekend is going to be very low key. I'm working on another big project at work, so I'll be working from home Saturday and Sunday. My goal is 5 hours each day. We'll see how I do. So, I haven't really made any plans other than that. I think that will keep me busy. Oh - and I have a couple of cards to make! And maybe a Cricut cartridge to purchase!
Hope ya'll have a great weekend!

What a Beautiful Weeekend!

It has been absolutely beautiful this weekend! Sunny, warm, the beginning of spring. It has been relaxing and getting lots done. Having Aunt Paula's microwave installed, doing the punch list for the sunroom, looking at blinds at Lowes, getting my computer cleaned up, driving in the car with my sunroof and windows open, volunteering with the babies at church, listening to a wonderful message, taking a NAP, etc, etc, etc. My next trick is putting laundry away and making two "welcome baby" cards and a wedding shower card.

All of this wonderfulness only slightly spoiled by the traffic citation I got from one of our loverly Roswell police department. Argh. Failure to stop at a stop sign. I don't think so - I'm innocent!!!!! Poor Misti - she called in the middle of the whole thing and got the brunt of my angst. I guess I'll be going to court in April. Whoo.

How do you make a handkerchief dance?

You put a little boogie in it!!! That's it - that's my one joke, reserved for special occasions. Special occasions like scrapping all day with the girls, being tired, and just a little scrap-blocked. Mass hilarity ensues...at least between Misti and Donnesia and I. Laurel got a kick out of laughing at how hard we were laughing at a silly joke and poor Kimberly was so far away at the next table - that she missed the whole thing! We definitely need to get her closer to us next time we crop!

Anyhoo - as you can tell I am back online. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am. I'm sitting on my sofa, with the laptop and a blanket. Ahhhh. I've been surfing the web and getting caught up on all of the blogs I used to read every day. I am so blessed to have a wonderful friend who persevered to get my all hooked and ready to go. Way to go, Laurel!
Here's a layout I did a few weeks ago - I've got to take better photos, but it's better than nothing!

More later!
