No scrapbooking = no fun!

So, it's been almost two weeks since my last post.  And I hate it.  I think about my blog every day.  I whine in my head about not being able to write.  Then I sit down to write, and discover, I don't really know how to write about what has been going on in the past little bit. Now – don't get worried.  Nothing life threatening, no emergency.  Just lots of life.

Things at work are a little odd and a lot challenging right now.  I won't go into details, but I will say I am very happy to have a job, even if it means going back to answering the phones and doing things I stopped doing several years ago.  I do miss my old desk.  And the freedom to go to the bathroom whenever I want to.  But, hopefully, in the end, the sacrifices will all be worth it.  The state of the economy has hit us pretty hard…and these are the sacrifices we are all making to keep the company profitable and afloat until things start to improve.

That being said, I've been extremely busy at work.  And by the time I get home, I'm pretty much ready to go to sleep.  Stupid tired.  That pretty much means I'm only good for sitting on the sofa with a glazed look in my eyes for about 30 minutes, then going to bed.

This week has been better, and I think by next week I'll have the hang of it.  And hopefully by next week my creative juices will be flowing again.  No scrapbooking = no fun J  My google reader has hit 400 posts just sitting there waiting for me to read….I'm excited to get caught up on everyone's posts!

More later!

Oh, by the way, does anyone out there watch Bones?  I need a Bones buddy.  I about had a heart attack Tuesday night and had no one to call and talk about it with!!!  Let me know if you are a fan.

  3. I would watch Bones if I knew when it was scheduled and it didn't conflict with Top Chef. I have watched it and found it's premise fascinating. As a person who has been trained in forensic anthropology that part doesn't surprise me at all, it's the life of the Bones woman that does. I love all the books written on which the show is based.
