Sunday Brunch

A good friend, Cvetelina, and I have been talking about going to Sunday brunch. I think we've both determined we aren't really brunch people. We like the idea of getting dressed up and going out for a fun meal, but are more inclined to not do it. But, if we were to get a little dressed up and go to brunch, here's what I'd wear.

Ralph Lauren Paula Striped Linen Dress

Tommy Hilfiger Adia Yellow Sandal

Christian Dior Buckle 2 Aviator Sunglasses

Cute, huh? Let's not mention that the bag is a mere $1200 and that I can't wear linen. This is all about dreaming, right?
Wanna join us for brunch? If you do, tell us what you'd wear - and post a comment here!

How is it possible......?

5 kids, 4 foam noodles, 3 swim breaks, 2 adults, 1 giant imaginary roller coaster.  How can they still be functioning?  Help us......

It was only a matter of time...

It was only a matter of time before scrapbooking became a little more mainstream.  Granted, there is still the stereotype of a "typical" scrapper (married, children, stay at home, old fuddy duddy - not that there is anything wrong with any of those qualities, well, except the fuddy-duddy part), but the world seems to be finally catching on that scrappers can be anyone.  Unique, modern, hip, single, even men!  It's true!

And I can't think of a better example than what I saw on my computer screen this morning.  I'm drinking coffee, catching up on the news and lo and behold, a scrapbooking ad on yahoo….and it's one of the most ingenious marketing ploys (the website and marketing campaign) I've ever seen in the scrapbooking world.  Check it out at www.roguegypsies.com.

I'm not a paid advertiser….I swear.  I just get excited about these things.

Hello, Gorgeous....

Hello, gorgeous! You are finally mine.

I wrote way back in December about the whole camera dillema. That I didn't really have one that created quality photos - and how that was a dillema considering my hobby involves photos on almost everything. I've resorted to wheedling, whining and nagging friends to send me their photos. But, no longer.

This beautiful little thing is now mine. Thanks to a co-worker who wanted to upgrade and didn't want to go through the hassle of selling on craigslist or ebay. And my need for a deal. I think we both walked away happy. Although I think I'm more happy...considering he's now without a camera...and can't decide which model to upgrade to :)

You may very well never see me again with this camera protruding from my face. And I'm okay with that.

I may just have to do a little investing in accessories :) Maybe something like this.

Happy 4th!

Standing on the platform waiting on the train to take us to the Peachtree Road Race. And no, I'm not actually running. This is purely a spectator sport for me!

Happy 4th!
