It’s CHA Time!

It's CHA time! For everyone who isn't into the crafty world, CHA is the big event occurring twice a year when manufacturer's introduce new products. And of course, over the past two weeks, there have been sneak peaks of products all over the internet.

First, I have to adamantly say I really want to go to CHA one day. Granted, it may be one of those things that doesn't live up to its hype when you really get to experience it. But I want to find out for myself if that's the case. Maybe 2011 will be my year.

Second, I'm a little disappointed with what I've seen so far. As far as tools go, there is usually at least one that that catches my eye, but not this year. In fact, I'm not sure I can think of a single one off the top of my head that I would be interested in purchasing. While there are some really beautiful paper and embellishment products as well, I feel like I've seen it all before. It seems that many manufacturer's have jumped on the the "Thicker" bandwagon which is wonderful (since I am a self-proclaiming addict of Thickers myself). I've seen several fabric and chipboard letter sets that would be perfect as part of my good ol' standby stash. Here are my top three new releases so far. All photos from The Scrap Review - which by the way, is an awesome review blog!

I do love this one from Teresa Collins called Chic Bebe Girl. You just can't go wrong with animal prints, polk-a-dots, damask and chandeliers, especially in pink and black. Teresa Collins surprised me this time around. I'm not usually a fan, but I will be scoping this one out at my local store soon.

Donna Downey is also coming out with new kits for a few of her projects and since I went to her class, I'm loving them! I definitely recommend checking them out.

Pink Paislee is another company I don't usually fawn over, but I really like this line called Bayberry Cottage. I'll take one of every piece, thank you very much!

What have you seen that strikes your fancy?
