My scrapbooking time has been limited lately. But I'm itching to get back to it. My supplies are all laid out, just waiting for me to give them some attention. Fingers crossed that it will happen this weekend!
Until then, here's a fun and bright one I created right after I got back from Hawaii. One of the funniest pictures, but also one of my favorites from the beginning of the trip.
More soon! Happy Monday!

Thrilling Thursday
No Thrilling Thursday. To be honest, most of my thrilling images were coming from Pinterest. And I'm on a Pinterest sabbatical. I'm trying to focus more on the doing than the pinning. :)
Until I've decided to re-enter the Pinterest world.....no photo for you!
Wait - I can't do that. So how about another one from Hawaii?

Dole Pineapple Plantation
On my second day in Hawaii we visited the Dole Plantation. Pineapples were and are a big part of the economy, but not nearly as much as it has been in the past.
We took a ride on the Pineapple Train :)
Pineapples! Silly me, I thought they grew on trees, like bananas. But really they grow from these - the tops of previously harvested pineapples that have been replanted.
And we were rewarded with this beautiful view!
Then Nicole wanted to feed the fish.
I didn't have the heart to tell her that these fish completely gross me out....and when you feed them they flop all over each other and make a rather disgusting sound! :)
And now for all kinds of pineapple!
We had the most delicious treat here as well. Dole whip. Seriously.the.best.ice.cream.ever.

I'm back!
I'm back! But missing the sun and breeze of Oahu terribly. I'm not going to bore you with every detail of the trip, but you should prepare yourself for lots of pictures. I took over 800 on my big camera alone, plus who knows how many photos with my iPhone. I'm a bit overwhelmed with how to pick what to print to scrapbook....but for now I'm just going to choose a couple of my favorites from each day and go with it.
I managed to take a few minutes each day with Nicole's (my fabulous hostess) help to journal what we did each day....I was so proud. And today when I went to look at the file...it wasn't there. Silly technology. Hopefully, I can figure out how to retrieve the deleted file. Does anyone know how?
In the meantime....at least I have photos!
I think this last photo may be my most favorite from the trip. I love that you can see the mountains, trees and water. Can you feel the breeze on your face as the sun goes down and the sounds of the waves? Sigh.
