Spotted Canary School

I'm excited to announce that the teaching curriculum at Michael's has undergone some changes.  The biggest, is the name change to Spotted Canary School, but the best change is that we'll be offering new classes beginning in May!

Our 4-week beginning scrapbook classes have been renamed to "Learn About Scrapbook Design" and will still be offered at least once a month, and we are happy to introduce new Martha Stewart CraftStudio classes!

I've updated the Teaching Schedule page with the new classes and will share more details about the new ones soon!

Until then, feast your eyes on these kits!

Wednesday TV

Before I forget....I'm hosting the Friday crop at Michael's in Johns Creek this week! Hope to see you there!

I love tv. There, I've said it. I love it a little too much. I think it might have something to do with the fact there wasn't much television watching when I was a kid. But, I digress. My tivo records stuff all of the time. And usually, in the fall, it's tv time galore. But for some reason, this year, it's just not that interesting. Shows that I am normally excited to watch just aren' t entertaining. Like to the point where I just don't want to watch anything. So weird. Does anyone else feel the same way?

There are only 5 shows I'm at all interested in - Amazing Race, Castle, Survivor, Hawai 5-0 (I think this one is good because it's new....so we'll see how long it lasts) and Project Runway. That's it. And Amazing Race and Survivor both have stalled out. I'm watching them only with the hope that they get better.

I'm sad…where has all the good television gone?

Con Crud

So, apparently there is thing called "Con Crud" - Dragon-Con veterans affectionate name for sickness you get after attending every year. And apparently, I got it. With a vengeance. Finally feeling better, but definitely not one hundred percent. Now I understand why I saw so many people dressed like this.

I've actually completed a few scrapbooking layouts over the past few weeks. As soon as I'm home on a sunny day, I'll get photos taken!

I'll be at the Johns Creek Michaels tomorrow from 1pm - 5 pm for Scrapbook Discovery Day. Come visit!
